The City’s Planning Team has established preliminary Draft Goals for the Climate Action Plan.
These preliminary goals, or strategies, under consideration by the Team have been developed through a series of 3 workshops held in January, February and early March. They are organized into nine community-wide sectors (Transportation and Mobility, Climate Economy, Greenspace and Trees, Water and Wastewater, Land Use and Housing, Buildings and Energy, Health and Safety, Local Food and Agriculture, and Waste Management).
The planning team is now working on exploring and identifying specific actions that might be taken in order to achieve these goals.
